The Rigol DHO812 is a 2-channel oscilloscope and the 100 MHz version in the DHO800 series. The DHO812 has a 12-bit resolution to reduce quantization uncertainty and in turn improve signal fidelity and analysis capabilities. Furthermore, the oscilloscopes from this series have a 7" touchscreen phosphor display with a resolution of 1024 x 600 pixels and a high capture rate of 1,000,000 waveforms per second. This oscilloscope also features a 1% DC gain accuracy as well as a 1.25 GSa/s sample rate. Moreover, multiple interface options are included as there is USB host/device in addition to: LAN, HDMI, Pass/Fail and trigger out. A large number of frames with data can be stored for further analysis. In addition, the DHO800 series oscilloscopes have an ultra-low noise floor, making measurements on very small signals possible and resulting in cleaner signals.
The DHO800 series oscilloscopes are powered via their USB-C port resulting in multiple advantages over more traditional powering modes. A portable power source can be used to power the oscilloscope consequently allowing the use of the oscilloscope anywhere. The weight is also lower and the size is more compact due to the removal of an internal power supply. Standard monitor mounting points allow for this oscilloscope to be installed on a monitor standard which can save desktop space and allow for more freedom of movement.
